Becky is an English-law qualified solicitor who joined the firm in 2014. She provides a wide range of legal advice to clients across a variety of industries, most notably to fashion and retail brands looking to grow their businesses internationally. This includes drafting, negotiating and advising on franchising, distribution, licensing and sales agency agreements, as well as advising on any related IP portfolio issues.
Becky also has significant experience in advising on contractual issues in relation to a wide range of contracts – from IT and software agreements, to marketing and product endorsement arrangements.
As part of the firm’s commitment to better understanding our clients’ businesses and needs, Becky spends an afternoon each week in-house with a large fashion/retail client where she advises members of the business on a variety of legal issues and provides in-house legal support to the European Legal Counsel.
With a view to ensuring her clients can act confidently in their handling of creative imagery, online sales and after-sale customer support, she also provides training to her clients on consumer rights, copyright, privacy and related issues.
Becky trained at one of London’s top law firms, after obtaining a Distinction from BPP Law School, London and an upper second class LLB from Nottingham University.
