Becky Weatherill
Senior Associate
Becky is an English-law qualified solicitor who joined the firm in 2014. She provides a wide range of legal advice to clients across a variety of industries, most notably to fashion and retail brands looking to grow their businesses internationally. This includes drafting, negotiating and advising on franchising, distribution, licensing and sales agency agreements, as well as advising on any related IP portfolio issues.
Becky also has significant experience in advising on contractual issues in relation to a wide range of contracts – from IT and software agreements, to marketing and product endorsement arrangements.
As part of the firm’s commitment to better understanding our clients’ businesses and needs, Becky acts as lead legal counsel for a large fashion/retail client. She spends one day each week in-house with the brand where she works closely with the c-team and members of the business on a wide variety of legal issues.
With a view to ensuring her clients can act confidently in their handling of creative imagery, online sales and after-sale customer support, she also provides training to her clients on consumer rights, copyright, privacy and related issues.
Becky trained at one of London’s top law firms, after obtaining a Distinction from BPP Law School, London and an upper second class LLB from Nottingham University.
